The central premise to Law Beats Cancer is events that make sense on many levels. Where lawyers, clients and firms are motivated to take part because they deliver real professional, personal and commercial value. Every event brings the legal community closer to beating cancer.
We’re hosting a webinar with Neil Edge on 16 November at 12pm, entitled: When Life Changes: Resilience, Recovery and Supporting Others.
Neil is a leadership mental performance speaker/coach, ultra-endurance athlete and cancer survivor. Drawing on his personal experience of chemotherapy and recovery, alongside years of coaching elite athletes and leaders, he’ll share practical strategies for navigating adversity, maintaining motivation and supporting those around us when life takes an unexpected turn.
During the session, Neil will explore:
– Understanding and managing adversity from a mental and cognitive perspective
– Adapting goals and maintaining motivation through major life challenges
– How to effectively support colleagues, friends and family members affected by cancer.
Whether you’ve been personally affected by cancer, are supporting someone who has, or simply want to develop greater resilience in your own life and career, this promises to be a powerful and practical discussion.

Not all requests will automatically qualify. Once approved, you will need to set up an online fundraising page linked to Law Beats Cancer and not through a third party or Cancer Research UK’s automatic link.
